Boston may be dwelling in the American League East cellar at 38-48. But they are starting to find their legs. The Red Sox enter today’s game, winning seven of their last 10 outings, which does include yesterday’s series-opener by a score of 5-2. Meanwhile, the Angels own one of the worst overall records in baseball, at 36-53, sitting in last place in the West. They have dropped four in a row, and six of their last 10 outings. Their offense is mediocre, and their pitching staff is downright deplorable. Granted, the Boston offense leaves a lot to be desired. But their pitching staff has been top-10 for quite a while now. Scheduled today are Gray and Aldegheri. On a solid staff, Gray has emerged as the best starter. The right-hander is an astounding 9-1 this season, with a 2.69 ERA. The team has won 11 of his last 13 outings, and in 14 of his 15 turns in 2026, he has yielded three runs or less. On the road his numbers are equally impressive, going 5-1 with a 3.29 ERA. The Los Angeles left-hander is just 3-3 with an ERA of 4.85. The team has dropped four of his last six appearances, and over his last three starts, he is just 1-2 with an 8.53 ERA. There aren’t too many bright spots for Angels fans this season. And I think things are going to go from bad to worse for this team as they playing a surging Red Sox visiting team here. Take Boston. Milwaukee is starting to run away with the National League Central division at 54-32, giving themselves a 5.5-game cushion. They have dominated most teams this season. And Arizona definitely fits in that category. The Brewers have taken three of four meetings this season with the Diamondbacks, outscoring them by a combined, 35-13. Not only are they winning at home, but Milwaukee is also one of the better away teams in baseball, sporting a 25-14 road record. With all respect to Arizona, who does sit in second place in the National League West, tied with San Diego, 14.0-games back of Los Angeles, their numbers just aren’t as impressive. As a matter of fact, they account for almost a full run less game than the visiting team, while their pitching staff has a higher ERA by almost one full run, as well. It’s hard to compare any team in baseball to the remarkable numbers the Brewers are putting up, ranking in the top-10 in just about every major offensive category, and in the top-10 in most pitching categories. Speaking of which, Brandon Woodruff and Merrill Kelly are scheduled today. The Milwaukee right-hander is 2-1 on the season with a 2.59 ERA. Over his last three outings he has a 0.00 earned run average, and on the road this season, he is a perfect 1-0 with a 2.89 ERA. The Arizona right-hand is 5-8 with a whopping ERA of 5.84 this season. As a matter of fact, his last victory came on May 25 as he has lost five straight games, while the team has dropped his last six turns. Over his last three starts, he has winless at 0-3 with a 7.27 ERA, and at home his ERA soars to 8.13. Baseball is very simple. You follow a hot team, and fade a cold one. Take the Milwaukee Brewers. San Diego, like most National League teams, has been dominated by Los Angeles, once again this season. The Dodgers have taken six of eight meetings with the Padres in 2026. This includes both games of this series, outscoring them by a combined 16-10. San Diego is falling badly, dropping seven consecutive contests, which does include all five games played on the road during that span. Their offense has been basically inconsistent at best. Case in point, they’ve been outscored during current losing streak by a combined, 65-27. On the other hand, Los Angeles has been red-hot since the Opening Day of this season. They own the best overall record in baseball at 58-31, have won eight of their last 10 games, and are one of the best home teams as well, going 28-14 on their own field in 2026. Their numbers are almost unbelievable as they rank second in the Majors in scoring and fourth in team ERA. Speaking of which, Griffin Canning Yoshinobu Yamamoto are schedule today. The Padres right-hander is just 1-5 of the 7.08 ERA this season as the team has dropped seven of his last 10 turns. On the road his numbers are even worse, going 1-3 with an 8.41 ERA. The Dodgers right-hander is a very respectable 8-5 with a 2.67 ERA this season as the team has prevailed in 10 of his 15 turns in 2026. At home this season he’s just 3-3. But does own a very good ERA at 3.04. No matter how you slice it, the Padres are sliding and cannot keep pace on the scoreboard with the Dodgers mighty lineup. Take Los Angeles on the line. In football, my weekend releases are usually posted by Thursday evening. During the week, Mon, Thurs, Fri, they are up very early that day. Baseball is posted each day early in the am. Basketball is up never any later than the early morning.

I have several types of plays depending on the sport and source of information. You will know when I have a BIG GAME or a GAME OF THE MONTH or SEASON. Obviously, these are "Special" games that you need to hit hard. Everyday plays are always an average unit for you unless I specify other. With me, I consistently win so you should progress over the course of the season. All picks are played equally unless otherwise specified such as a GOM or TOP PICK noted play.

I have a basic money management system. I feel that a money management system should be simple enough for anyone to follow, and should be directed at capitalizing on the "Hot Games". See, I have been around bookies my whole life, and understand that you never want to get a name as a "Sharp Better" or "Sharpie" once that happens you will begin to get "blackballed" or :"blacklisted" at both local books and internet books. Therefore, we bet on enough games to come under the radar; however we capitalize on the "Hot Games", as mentioned above. The system is based on units.
The range is from 5 units to 20 units. A safe better would let one unit should consist of 1 percent of your total balance offered by your book. A more risk better would double that and let one unit be 2 percent of his total balance. For example, if I have a 100 game and 1000 a week limit, and I am betting 20 units, a safe bettor would bet $200. A riskier one would risk $400.
