Jordan Hicks is a guy who starts out hot, we saw this last season where he posted a 1.86 ERA and 0.93 WHIP in April. He's repeating that this season, after striking out 6 and allowing just 1 hits and 2 walks against the Astros in a 7-2 Giants win. Now he'll get a lackluster Mariners offense which he will look to dominate with his 97/98 mph fastball. Woo counters for the Mariners to make a heck of a Sunday pitching match-up. He's got a nasty four-seamer and sinker combination. Big fan of Woo in general but he has been a lot worse of a pitcher outside the friendly confines of T-Mobile Park. Woo has nearly a 4 career ERA when pitching on the road. He's only started against the Giants at home in his career. The Giants are 3-0 in their last 3 against Seattle. Seattle is averaging just 3.2 runs per game which is not going to cut it against the Giants. Mariners are looking to avoid a sweep today but I don't think they do that. Give me the Giants to start the season 8-1 today with a win over the Mariners. Take the SF Giants.
