Hey guys, I've been around the block quite a few times in the 45 years I've been sports betting. I have experienced odds makers mistakes, I have experienced traps set by the oddsmakers, and I have certainly experienced everything when it comes to betting lines. For the life of me, I can't figure out why the Auburn Tigers are laying this much wood against the Michigan Wolverines. Auburn…which is a monster team, split out their last six-games straight up, and has been absolute point spread poison, covering only once in their last five outings, and going back a bit further, only covering three times in their last 10 contests. Meanwhile Michigan has not only won all five of their postseason games, they have also covered all five as well. Mind you, four of those games they won outright as an underdog. This time of year, that is a huge benefit, in my mind. Both teams have big, strong front courts, and talented back courts. Yes, the Tigers account for a couple of more points offensively, and yield a couple of less points defensively. They are sharp from downtown, and have a small edge from the free throw line, as well. But this Wolverine defense has looked so strong, and has frustrated everybody they gone up against recently. And remember, they went up against some pretty good opponents in both, the Conference and Big Dance Tournaments. As I mentioned earlier, they were ‘dogs four times, and won all four of those… outright. Their offense has really stepped up the last few weeks, posting 86 points against Purdue, 81 against Maryland, 59 against the stingy Wiscy defense, 68 against UCSD, and just exploded for 91 against Texas A&M. This line is way, way out of whack. Take the Wolverines. Thank you.
