One team that needs a victory and some help, is the Miami Dolphins. Miami needs Kansas City to upset Denver (and that's the first time I've said that in years LOL), but they need Kansas City to beat Denver as well as earning a victory this week over New York. But it all starts with a win here for the Dolphins. Reports this week are quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa has practiced a bit. Now whether he plays or not (as of post, check status), I still feel the Dolphins are the play here. This is a team that's gone 6-2 straight up down the stretch this season. They've also covered six of their last nine overall outings. We all know the New York Jets are one of the biggest disappointments this season. At 4-12, and all the drama surrounding Aaron Rodgers, this team is just horrible. I actually feel for Jets fans. I really do. I read a stat this week that was absolutely amazing: the NFL database has over 9,697 games where the QBR was calculated. Aaron Rodgers’ performance against the Bills last week, ranked 9,677th out of the 9,697 games calculated… WOW!!! There are players that want out of New York, and they want out as soon as possible. There are a lot of people that feel being that Rodgers just might be playing his last career game ever, and he's gonna’ go out with a bang. I just don't see it. This is a team ranking 24th in the league in scoring, averaging a laughable, 19.1-points per game. Because of this, their defense is so overworked, they have been sliced for 24.0-points per game on the season. Another shocking statistic: they've committed 18 turnovers, while their stop-unit (if you can call that) has snagged just five takeaways. The Dolphins have dominated this rivalry, taking eight of the last nine meetings, straight up, covering six of those nine meetings. Believe it or not, their defense has been a big part of their late-season surge, allowing 20.8-points per game this season, and ranking in the top-10 against the pass as well as the rush. I just don't see the Jets coming out here victorious. And that's basically what oddsmaker are asking of the general public, because the line is so low here. Take Miami on the moneyline folks.
