The biggest story in the WNBA this season is by far surrounding Caitlin Clark. She was the most anticipated player coming out of college into pro basketball, and really has lived up to expectations. The standout guard leads the Fever in scoring, averaging over 17.8 points per game. There's a lot of news, media, stories, and headlines surrounding Clark. I think she's handled it with class and professionalism, especially for someone so young. However, it must be frustrating being on a team that is 0-5. The Mystics are the only other winless team in the WNBA thus far this season. Obviously, there's a lot of pressure on Clark and Indiana right now to get their first victory of the campaign. It's no secret Los Angeles has dominated them, taking the last four meetings in a row, and overall, eight of the last 10 matchups. But this team is falling short this season, going just 1-2 straight up, and only covering one outing. On the other hand, despite a winless record, the Fever have covered the last three contests against such a opponents as the Liberty, the Sun, and the Storm. Each game they are improving significantly as a team. Personally, I would've made the Sparks a small favorite here. But the oddsmakers know the general public are just waiting for an opportunity to bet on Clark and the Fever. So, they made them a favorite. In my opinion, they're setting a trap for us. But we're not going to fall for it. As of posting this free play, over 60% of the bets are coming in on Los Angeles. We're going to buck the tide and take Indiana. Just to err on the side of caution, put the Fever on the money line. Thank you.
