Free Sports Game Preview and Prediction: California vs. Virginia Tech

CAL has not had a great time in the ACC this season going 6-14 in conference play and going 1-7 over their last eight games of the season. This team can rebound a little bit but their defense is so bad that it kind of cancels that out and they are probably a little letdown by their 112-110 4OT loss against Notre Dame their last time out. Virginia Tech went 8-12 in ACC play and while they have not found success against good teams they went to CAL and got the win earlier in the season. This squad doesn’t rely on any one major leading scorer but they do a good job of controlling the tempo and are capable of big defensive efforts. Take Virginia Tech getting points in this one as I don’t trust CAL to really do well in yet another massive travel spot and I think we see the Hokies play one of their better games in this one.
