Arkansas got the win over Kansas in round one in a pretty close game against a team with a much scarier reputation than actual team this season. The Razorbacks did not shoot the ball particularly well from long range in the win and really got an insane game from Jonas Aidoo, something they are going to need again if they want to continue to advance. Getting outrebounded and allowing Kansas to shoot 8-17 from deep is concerning.
St. John’s absolutely cruised against Omaha in their opening round game and Pitino got to have some fun at the press conference. The Red Storm got exactly what you would want from RJ Luis Jr and this squad did what it’s supposed to do being great defensively and on the boards and their offense was clicking but nothing out of the real of normalcy.
Take St. John’s to get the win and cover in this matchup. Arkansas barely got by Kansas and I don’t expect that level of play to be possible or to happen here against an elite St. John’s team that is going to dominate the boards and play suffocating defense.
